A Memorial Ceremony is held for friends and family to pay respects to the person who has passed away without the body being present. Usually this is after the funeral service so there may well be photographs or an urn containing the ashes of the deceased.
The Ceremony may contain prayers, eulogies, songs, music and readings from family and friends. It is an opportunity to celebrate the life of the deceased.
